Lent and Easter Services in Glen Ellyn

Join us this Lenten season as we prepare our hearts and minds for the risen Christ! Everyone is welcome at First United Methodist Church of Glen Ellyn.

Start your journey with us on the Sunday, February 15 as we host our annual Mardi Gras Celebration and Potluck! Then, join us on February 18 for a 7 p.m. Ash Wednesday service. Participate in our Lenten Bible Study featuring Adam Hamilton's book, The Message of Jesus, on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. in the dining room.

 

Enter Holy Week with jubilation on Palm Sunday, March 29, with 10:30 a.m. worship followed by our annual egg bake brunch after worship. Witness Christ's Passion with a reverent service of song with our Good Friday Tenebrae Service at 7 p.m.

Finally, join us on Easter Sunday for a service of joy and celebration as we honor the Risen Christ! Don't miss the Easter Egg Hunt out on the lawn following worship.
