About the event
The members of Hannah Circle warmly invite you to join us on Tuesday, September 12 in the FUMC Dining Room to watch and discuss The Long Shadow, a documentary film that is part of the Northern Illinois Conference (NIC) 2023 Film Discussion Series digging deeply into the institutional racism that developed from slavery and Jim Crow laws. The Long Shadow examines the filmmaker’s personal journey in exposing her own family’s history of slaveholding.
